Riko becomes the target of a significant bounty, attracting curse users. While facing this threat, Suguru casually prepares tea, and one of his cursed spirits restrains Kokun, the curse user. Kokun finds himself immobilized, with only one arm free to resist the constant attempts of the cursed spirit to lick and kiss him.
As Riko and her caregiver lie unconscious on a couch, Suguru, seated opposite them, pretends not to hear Kokun. Annoyed, Kokun boasts about Bayer, Q's strongest soldier, who he claims will make Suguru regret his actions. To Kokun's surprise, Suguru receives a picture message from Satoru, revealing Bayer's easy defeat. Witnessing Bayer's downfall, Q disbands shortly afterward as an organization.
Shiu Kong, the intermediary for the Time Vessel Association, discovers Toji, recently hired to hunt the Star Plasma Vessel, engaged in unsuccessful race betting. Shiu questions Toji about his lack of pursuit of the Star Plasma Vessel, and Toji confesses that he can't confront Satoru directly.
To wear Satoru down, Toji mentions using the initial deposit from the Time Vessel Association, without providing details. Toji loses his race bet, prompting Shiu to comment that gambling might not be his forte. As Shiu departs, he reminds Toji, the Sorcerer Killer, that he's relying on him and inquires about Megumi. Unfortunately, Toji struggles to remember who Megumi is.
Back at the hotel with the Star Plasma Vessel, Satoru, and Suguru contemplate whether they should seek medical help for the girl. They express a desire to use reverse cursed technique like Shoko, but lament Shoko's inability to explain the process clearly. The Star Plasma Vessel, Riko Amanai, regains consciousness and rebukes Satoru. She assumes a battle stance and threatens the boys, skeptical of their allegiance. Her caregiver, Misato Kuroi, enters the room and discovers the boys interacting with Riko. She intervenes, clarifying that they are all on the same side.
Satoru expresses surprise at Riko, noting that she differs from his expectations, given that she's destined to be assimilated into Tengen. However, Riko proudly embraces her role as the Star Plasma Vessel, asserting that she is Tengen, and Tengen is her. Despite Riko's affirmation, Satoru and Suguru casually dismiss and mock her, provoking the young girl. A jest about her lacking friends prompts Riko to realize that she's missing school.
At her request, everyone accompanies her to Renchoku Girls' Junior High. Satoru argues for a return to Jujutsu High, but Masamichi explains over the phone that fulfilling Riko's requests aligns with Tengen's orders. Misato adds that, having lost her family at a young age, Riko deserves to enjoy her last day with her friends. Suguru warmly acknowledges Misato as Riko's family.
Satoru inquires about the status of Suguru's surveillance cursed spirits, leading to the elimination of two of them. Meanwhile, Toji dines at a restaurant, monitoring more races. He places a bounty on Riko using the deposit from the Time Vessel Association, attracting several curse users. Suguru takes it upon himself to confront the curse users, while Satoru and Misato embark on a search for Riko to ensure her evacuation.
While at the restaurant, Shiu contacts Toji to update him on the girl's location, revealing that she hasn't reached Jujutsu High yet. Shiu emphasizes the risk of losing the deposit if someone else takes out the girl, and Toji may not be rewarded by the Time Vessel Association. Unperturbed, Toji points out Satoru Gojo's unique abilities and expresses confidence that nobody can reach the girl with Satoru guarding her. He extends the bounty for another forty-seven hours and instructs Shiu to reclaim the money after the time limit, ending the call despite Shiu's protests.
At Riko's school, Suguru encounters an elderly curse user who summons two simple shikigami. Suguru, anticipating multiple enemies from Jujutsu High, recognizes the strategic placement of the shikigami to cover his flank. Summoning cursed spirits, Suguru surprises his opponent, who realizes they are not shikigami.
The curse user believes Suguru is averse to close combat and begins formulating a plan. However, Suguru summons a massive worm-like curse that fills the hallway and seemingly engulfs his opponent. As Suguru turns to leave, the curse user unexpectedly bursts through the window behind him.
As the battle unfolds, it appears that the curse user gains the upper hand. However, in a sudden turn of events, Suguru dominates the fight with superior hand-to-hand combat, revealing that he intentionally led the curse user into a close-range encounter. After incapacitating the elderly man, Suguru questions his affiliation with either Q or the Time Vessel Association.
Meanwhile, Satoru disrupts Riko's music class to extract her, drawing the attention of everyone, including the teacher. Despite Riko's displeasure, she understands Satoru's intention to keep her friends out of harm's way. A curse user wearing a bag-mask spots Satoru carrying Riko, prompting Misato to confront him and overpower him with a well-timed low blow. Suguru joins the scene, expressing admiration for Misato's skills. He shares information obtained from the defeated curse user and attempts to call Satoru.
Suguru informs Satoru that there is a bounty on Riko's head posted on the dark web for curse users, with a time limit set for 11 AM the next day. The revelation confirms Riko as the target, and suddenly, the defeated curse user's body melts. In a race against time, Suguru warns Satoru about the impending danger.
However, as Satoru and Riko find themselves surrounded by four clones of the same curse user, Suguru's attempt to intervene becomes a critical moment. Satoru utilizes Cursed Technique Lapse: Blue to thwart the fifth clone, and two more clones rushing him are effortlessly dealt with using the Infinity technique.
Satoru discloses that his opponent possesses an innate technique allowing the generation of up to five clones, with the ability to designate any of them as the main body at a moment's notice. When questioned about how he knew this, Satoru attributes it to his keen perception. He proceeds to explain his own technique, detailing the mechanics of Blue and its forward activation.
The curse user attempts to flee, prompting Satoru to use Blue to attract both of them to a single point. However, when Satoru tries to employ Cursed Technique Reversal: Red, it fails to activate, revealing that he has yet to master reverse cursed technique.
In a comical declaration of failure, Satoru resorts to a simple punch to defeat the curse user. Throughout the encounter, Riko has been levitating beside Satoru, witnessing the battle. Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Episode 2 ends to her surprise, she receives a message on her cellphone, revealing that Misato has been kidnapped.
