Yamato expressed the intention to stay and protect Wano, anticipating that powerful individuals would target the land following Kaido's departure. Luffy understood and assured Yamato that if he stayed, there would be no need to worry about Momonosuke and the others. Subsequently, Marco, flying overhead, informs them of his plan to leave Wano, leading to farewells, with Luffy expressing gratitude for Marco's life-saving actions during the Summit War of Marineford.
In the current events on Amazon Lily, Gloriosa expresses sorrow over the island's invasion, with part of its mountain cut down and the town heavily damaged. Boa Hancock, still recovering with bandages, informs Gloriosa that as long as she remains on the island, the Marines will continue to return, especially with the abolition of the Warlord system. A few weeks prior, the island faced a Marine fleet attack, with artillery fire targeting the gates.
The Kujas responded with haki-coated arrows, prompting Koby to deploy the new Pacifistas, the Seraphim, to the battlefront. Two winged Pacifistas with fire on their backs make an appearance. As Marines land on the island, Sweet Pea attempts to halt their advance but is slapped away by one of the Seraphims. The Kujas are astonished by the strength displayed by what appears to be a child, resembling a younger Hancock upon closer inspection.
Later, the Blackbeard Pirates make their entrance on the island. Blackbeard directs a Seaquake towards the Marines' ships. Accompanied by Vasco Shot and Catarina Devon, Blackbeard proceeds towards the town with the aim of acquiring Hancock's Devil Fruit. As they walk, Marines attempt to stop them, but Blackbeard effortlessly thwarts their attacks using his Blackhole powers. Along the way, they encounter the second Seraphim, resembling a younger Mihawk. Observing the Seraphim's distinctive features – white hair, brown skin, and black wings – Blackbeard draws a conclusion about its identity.
The Seraphim makes a bold move, lunging at Blackbeard with its sword. However, Blackbeard skillfully evades the attack. Undeterred, the Seraphim launches another assault, which Blackbeard counters with his Busoshoku Haki. Despite successfully blocking the attack, the force propels Blackbeard through the air, resulting in a significant portion of the island's central mountain being sliced off. Astonishingly, Blackbeard emerges from the encounter unscathed but visibly annoyed.
To his surprise, he discovers that the formidable Seraphim is, in fact, a Pacifista. The Seraphim attempts another slash, and as Marines arrive on the scene, Blackbeard employs his Blackhole technique. This causes the Seraphim to leap away, avoiding being drawn into the void created by Blackbeard's powers, which also affects nearby structures and Marines.
At the palace, Hancock, initially defiant against Koby's demands, gracefully steps onto the balcony. Her enchanting presence captivates both the Marines and the Blackbeard Pirates. Harnessing her Devil Fruit powers, she unleashes the Slave Arrow, turning most of her adversaries into stone statues.
However, the Pacifistas, immune to her petrifying abilities, attempt to strike back. Koby, unaffected by Hancock's charms, commands the Pacifistas to cease their attacks as they unintentionally destroy the stony figures. Amidst the chaos, Hancock notices Koby in the crowd and attempts to kick him. Yet, before her attack connects, Blackbeard intervenes, catching her midair and deploying his Black Vortex technique.
Hancock, rendered powerless by Blackbeard's darkness, demands that he release her. Acknowledging her prowess in turning his subordinates to stone, Blackbeard admires her as a worthy Pirate Empress. Despite his desire to acquire her Devil Fruit powers, Hancock emphasizes that her abilities are inseparable from her beauty. One Piece Episode 1087 ends on a cliffhanger as She warns Blackbeard that killing her would leave his people permanently petrified, with no future user able to reverse the stone petrification.
