Boku no Hero Academia Season 3 Episode 4 - Anime Recap

Boku no Hero Academia Season 3 Episode 4 titled "My Hero"

The episode begins with a flashback of Shota Aizawa, the homeroom teacher of Class 1-A, explaining the purpose of the forest training camp. He says that the students will be trained by the Wild, Wild Pussycats, a team of pro heroes who specialize in mountain rescue. He also says that the students will be divided into groups based on their Quirk types, and that they will have to reach the base camp by nightfall.

The students arrive at the forest, where they are greeted by the Pussycats. They introduce themselves as Mandalay, Pixie-Bob, Ragdoll, and Tiger, and they show their Quirks. Mandalay can communicate telepathically, Pixie-Bob can manipulate earth, Ragdoll can scan and locate anyone, and Tiger can change his body shape and strength. They also introduce Kota Izumi, a young boy who is Mandalay's nephew and who hates heroes and Quirks.

The Pussycats tell the students to start running towards the base camp, and they use their Quirks to create obstacles and enemies for them. The students have to use their own Quirks and teamwork to overcome the challenges. Along the way, they encounter a giant beast made of dirt, which Pixie-Bob calls "Beast King: Chimera Kraken".

The students fight against the beast, but they are overwhelmed by its size and power. Izuku tries to use his Quirk, One For All, which gives him super strength, but he is afraid of injuring himself. He remembers the words of his mentor, All Might, who told him to control his power by imagining an egg in a microwave. He manages to use a small percentage of his power and punches the beast, creating an opening for his classmates to attack.

The students combine their Quirks and defeat the beast, which turns out to be a creation of Pixie-Bob. They are praised by the Pussycats, who tell them to keep moving. Izuku notices that Kota is watching them from a distance, and he feels sorry for him. He decides to talk to him later and try to understand his feelings.

Meanwhile, at a secret hideout, a group of villains called the Vanguard Action Squad is preparing to attack the forest training camp. They are led by Dabi, a man who can create blue flames, and they are part of the League of Villains, the main enemy of the heroes. They have a list of targets, which includes Izuku, Todoroki, Bakugo, and Ragdoll. They also have a mysterious man in a capsule, who is the key to their plan.

The episode ends with the villains launching their attack, and the students and the Pussycats sensing their presence. The forest is engulfed in flames, and the villains declare war on the heroes.
