Youkai Watch: Shadow Side Episode 3 titled "The Cursed Blade: Onimaru".
The episode begins with a flashback of a young boy named Kengo, who was bullied by his classmates and found a mysterious sword in a cave. He named the sword Onimaru and vowed to become stronger with it.
In the present day, Natsume and her friends visit a sword museum, where they encounter Kengo, who is now a famous swordsman. He challenges Touma to a duel, but Touma refuses, saying he is not interested in swords.
Later, Natsume and Touma notice that Kengo is acting strangely, and follow him to the cave where he found Onimaru. They discover that Onimaru is actually a youkai that possesses Kengo and feeds on his negative emotions. Onimaru reveals that he plans to use Kengo's body to destroy the world.
Natsume and Touma summon their youkai partners, Jibanyan and Komasan, and transform them into their Shadowside forms, which are more powerful and menacing. They fight against Onimaru, but he proves to be too strong for them.
Meanwhile, Keisuke and Akinori arrive at the cave, and Keisuke decides to join the battle. He summons his youkai partner, Whisper, and transforms him into his Shadowside form, which is a giant robot. He uses Whisper's rocket punch to knock Onimaru off Kengo, freeing him from the possession.
Kengo regains his senses and apologizes to Touma for his actions. He realizes that he was using Onimaru as an excuse to escape from his problems, and decides to face them with his own strength. He thanks Natsume and her friends for saving him, and parts ways with them.
The episode ends with Natsume and her friends leaving the cave, while Onimaru is seen lying on the ground, still alive. He vows to find another host and continue his evil plans.
