Nanatsu no Taizai Kamigami no Gekirin Episode 1 The Light That Sweeps Away the Darkness
This episode is about the Seven Deadly Sins, a group of powerful knights who are trying to stop the Ten Commandments, a group of powerful demons who are trying to destroy the world. The episode starts with two of the Sins, Ban and Meliodas, saving some villagers from the demons. They then join the other Sins, Gowther, Escanor, Merlin, and Elizabeth, in a village in Camelot, where the Ten Commandments have their base. There, they meet a boy named Peliodas, who wants to be like Meliodas, the leader of the Sins.
Meanwhile, the king of Liones, the kingdom where the Sins are from, tells Howzer, the new leader of the holy knights, about a prophecy that says the Sins will reunite when the moon shines at midday and the fog hangs low in the royal capital. He also tells him that the last two members of the Sins, Diane and King, are in the Fairy King's Forest, a place where fairies live.
In the forest, Diane and King, who are both fairies, meet each other by accident in a river. They are happy to see each other, but they also have some problems. Diane has lost her memories of being a Sin, and King has feelings for her, but he doesn't know how to tell her.
At the end of the episode, a group of villains called the Vanguard Action Squad, who work for the Ten Commandments, attack the forest training camp where the Sins and the holy knights are staying. They set the forest on fire and declare war on the heroes.
